Urinary conditions:
E.g. painful urination, urinary retention, urgency, enuresis, cystitis.
Acupuncture can modulate urinary conditions via its effect on the nervous system, reducing perception of pain and reducing inflammation.
Acupuncture does not kill bacteria, however, so in cases where antibiotics are needed, acupuncture can be used to support recovery in addition to any medication you may be prescribed.
Acupuncture cannot make structural (anatomical) changes, e.g. blockage due to kidney stone, tumor etc.
