Neurological conditions:
Acupuncture can help with a range of neurological conditions, helping us to deal with pain, dysphagia, hemiplegia, speech and language difficulties and so forth. Conditions may include headaches, Bell’s Palsy, supporting stroke rehab, MS, Parkinson’s Disease.
Acupuncture is routinely used in acute hospitals in China to treat stroke.
This is an area of special interest to me, due to my 20 years (and counting) working in neurology as an SLT (Speech and Language Therapist).
